Fifteen years ago our founder, James Ward, was designing and building very high quality homes.
When building his own home, he couldn't find a table that was quite to his exacting standards. So he
made his own.
The Chantry House Oak Farmhouse Table was born!
A friend and local doctor saw the table and asked James to make him one. This was the first of the many hundreds we have sold, and of course, the range has grown to suit the demands of our customers.
Unique Designs
Our oak furniture is made to thoroughly traditional patterns and designs. These have stood the test of time and perfectly match the innate character of the oak. The furniture is either handcrafted in our workshop in West Sussex or made to our designs by carefully selected craftsmen.
Chantry House Oak furniture is unique. It has been designed for the character of the oak to be carried through into the finished piece of furniture. Each item will add warmth to your home - whether a modern house or centuries old cottage. James Ward has designed the range using clean, solid and attractive design elements - above all letting the charm and beauty of the wood shine through.
